The public MIELA sample can be used without an account. The full learning library requires sign-in so progress, saved courses and completions can follow the learner across devices.
What MIELA stores
When you sign in, MIELA stores your account profile and learning progress in its Supabase database. Limited interface state may also be cached in your browser so the learning experience remains responsive.
Export and import
You can export a backup from My Learning and import it into another browser. That backup can contain reflections and learning progress, so treat the file as your own private learning data.
Administrator visibility
MIELA administrators can see account identity, role, courses started, completion progress, saved-course counts, recent learning activity and aggregate course-interest signals. The dashboard deliberately does not expose reflection text or individual quiz answers.
Learning insights
MIELA uses aggregate signals such as course starts, completions, saves and optional interest in advanced learning to understand which topics are useful and what learning to develop next.
